How it works
1. Somebody remembers something
They submit a short story with an approximate year, category and optional link to an old site, archive snapshot, screenshot, repo or related post.
2. A human checks it
Stories enter a moderation queue. This keeps obvious spam, invented nostalgia and offers to improve our domain authority off the front page.
3. The old hands vote
Readers press I remember on the stories that deserve a trip up the front page. There are no downvotes. We have all experienced enough rejection from Internet Explorer already.
4. More memories fall out
Approved comments let people add their own details and side stories. Those are moderated too, because apparently guestbooks taught us nothing.
